Since 2007, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and HTWG Constance University of Applied Sciences in Germany (HTWG) have jointly provided the EMBA Program for the executives in the famous German Mercedes-Benz Manufacturer Daimler. The non-full-time program lasts for two years and welcomes new students every year.
With the theme of "Compliance and Corporate Governance", this is the first program in China featured in Compliance and Corporate Governance. This program adopts advanced syllabus, curriculum and academic standard for teaching, with the objective to cultivate excellent talents of the highest professional ethics and with good command of the international business operational regulations, to promote the localization of the international companies and the internationalization of the domestic companies for the improvement of the corporate global competitive edge.
The program is composed of six modules jointly taught by professors from both China and Germany. Five modules are taught in BIT and one module are taught in Germany for 16 days. The students will receive the EMBA diploma from HTWG when passing all the course examinations and thesis defense.
The program has been successfully organized for ten classes and 128 students from eight classes have been graduated.
